Your opportunity

We are seeking a PR Coordinator to join the Pomellato Japan PR team based in Tokyo. This role will report to the PR Manager.

The PR Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the brand’s visibility, image, and desirability in the Japanese market. Working closely with the local marketing team, global communications, and external agencies, the PR Coordinator will support the implementation of public relations strategies and ensure consistent brand storytelling across earned media.

How you will contribute

PR & Media Relations

• Support execution of the annual PR calendar aligned with brand strategy and global guidelines.
• Daily press office activities: product placements, press releases, media requests.
• Assist in identifying local media opportunities, angles, and partnerships in line with the brand’s luxury positioning.
• Maintain relationships with editors, journalists, influencers, stylists, and tastemakers.
• Support in monitoring and reporting media coverage, ensuring proper brand visibility and alignment.
• Report directed to the Japan PR manager, and work together on PR activities in Japan.

Press Materials & Product Requests

• Prepare and localize press releases and background materials.
• Manage press sample and products, shooting requests, inventory, and tracking.
• Coordinate logistics for editorial shoots and influencer placements.

Events & Activations

• Support the execution of PR events, media previews, and brand activations.
• Assist with guest list management, RSVP tracking, and event logistics.
• On-site coordination and follow-up with media and influencers during events.

Reporting & Analysis

• Compile regular PR clippings and reporting (weekly, campaign-based, ad hoc).
• Track KPIs related to PR and influencer activities.
• Monitor competitive landscape and industry trends.

Who you are

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Fashion, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in PR or communications, ideally in the luxury, fashion, or beauty industry.
• Fluent in Japanese; business-level English required.
• Strong understanding of the Japanese media and influencer landscape.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Passion for luxury and fine jewelry, with sensitivity to high-end brand environments.
• Proficient in MS Office and familiar with PR reporting tools.
