Established in Milan by Pino Rabolini in 1967 during a period characterized by a highly creative vision, a free and highly avant-garde way of living and where creativity and industry met to make Milan the Italian capital of prêt-à-porter. Part of the Café Jamaica’s artistic crowd, the founder came up with the visionary idea of introducing prêt-à-porter to the conservative world of jewelry.
Pomellato stands out for its unique design and colorful gems which through innovative stone cutting and setting techniques have come to define an unmistakable and iconic style. Pomellato is incredibly proud of being able to create and produce all of its jewelry at Casa Pomellato. Thanks to a team of one hundred goldsmiths and artisans whose hands create each one of its jewelry piece’s, from the beginning to the end.
Working towards a more eco-conscious future, Pomellato has now achieved 100% responsible gold purchasing and has increased Fairmined gold purchases as well, to create a special collection. The brand continues to invest in the traceability of colored stones and diamonds while exploring new materials and recycling solutions. Meanwhile, it collaborates with a Milan-based goldsmith school to safeguard consistency and craftsmanship.
Through initiatives and advocacy, Pomellato continues to reinforce the importance of sustainability, an Earth-conscious community, female education and career growth, and a global well-being that promotes a healthier work-life balance.
