    About us 
    Cristóbal Balenciaga founded the House in 1917 in his home of Spain. In 1937, he established the brand in Paris, designing its collections there until 1968. Cristóbal Balenciaga had a reputation as a couturier of uncompromising standards and was referred to as "the master of us all" by Christian Dior and as “The Couturier of the Couturiers” by Gabrielle Chanel. The ultra-modern shapes were trademarks of the house.
    While the brand’s identity is firmly rooted in its highly conceptual prêt-à-porter collections, its leather goods, footwear, and accessories experience worldwide success as well. Among the archetypal products of the House are its handbag collections. A new focus on the development of Balenciaga ready-to-wear collections for men was quickly established as highly successful.
    Since October 2015, Demna has designed both men’s and women’s collections as the artistic director.
    The Balenciaga House, part of the Kering group since 2001, is one of the most influential names in fashion.

    Your opportunity

    You will be responsible for managing and implementing all aspects of the training and development initiatives for Balenciaga in Hong Kong and Macau. This will involve close collaboration with the Retail Operations team to plan and deliver a comprehensive retail training program, developing training documentation, tools and resources to support ongoing learning and development, facilitating the sharing of best practices across the retail network, and ensuring sales and service processes are clearly documented and communicated to drive exceptional Balenciaga customer experiences across all touchpoints.

    How you will contribute

    • Collaborate with the Retail Operations team and Global Training Team to develop a comprehensive annual training plan, aligning it with the overall company business strategy.

    • Manage the annual training budget for the assigned properties.

    • Devise and deliver a cohesive client experience strategy covering all aspects of the company's products and brand, while supporting strategic initiatives aimed at driving growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

    • Oversee the retail training program, operating plan, and best practices to optimize training effectiveness.

    • Deliver orientation, service, and product training courses to both retail, office, and business partners, while following up on training effectiveness.

    • Conduct regular in-store field coaching, submit reports to the retail team, and collaborate with Store Managers to follow up on the results.

    • Partner with the Human Resources Team to implement comprehensive learning and development programs.

    Who you are

    • Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in training and development in a customer service-oriented retail luxury environment

    • Strong skills in needs analysis, program development, facilitation, and training delivery

    • Mature, confident, and positive mindset with excellent interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with diverse cultures and all levels of staff.

    • Self-motivated with strong organizational and influencing skills, able to work with limited guidance and resources.

    • Passionate about fostering a continuous learning culture and developing talents

    • Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese

    • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
