KERING EYEWEAR Packaging Specialist

Your Opportunity 

Working along with the Brand Management, Product, Purchasing, Quality and Sustainability teams to be responsible and lead the development of the eyewear packaging items and stationary (institutional, seasonal and related to special projects) for the Brands in portfolio in respect of the relevant timing and target cost.

How you will contribute

• Participate actively in the discussion for the definition of the different kind of cases needed to fit the eyewear collections;
• Creation of the technical briefing and definition of the project timeline to be presented and discussed internally and with the Brand;
• Discuss with the Brand the development of a new packaging, supporting and guiding the Brand in the development steps with the final goal to meet:
• Brand’s final approval (both on the design and prototypes), The target cost The time to market;
• To have the sensibility to perceive the Brand’s image and to translate it together with the Brand creative inputs into new packaging creativities, briefing the involved suppliers;
• Coordinate the involved suppliers in the prototypes development keeping a focus on the project timeline: collecting the estimates, evaluating the first prototypes developed by them, defining the further steps to present prototypes as much perfect as possible, coordinating the fitting test with the Product and Quality teams;
• Items’ codes creation for product packaging set & stationary definition to generate the BOM;
• To lead the PO issuing, sharing both with suppliers and purchasing department the needed info to enter the official purchase orders;
• Coordinate the packaging shooting needed for the Brands presentation and for the official documents;
• Production coordination of the needed printing layout with the assigned supplier, collecting the Brands’ approval.
• To be responsible for the final check and approval of the stationary blueprints needed for the start production;
• To approve, collect, archive and share with the Logistic, Product and Quality departments the PP samples;
• Scout, evaluate new materials and techniques together with the Sustainability team, keeping an high focus on new possible sustainable implementations.

Who you are

• 3+ years of work experience in the luxury accessories or cosmetics industry Experience with luxury brand licenses
• Good knowledge of the main materials and techniques used for cases, cleaning clothes and boxes production development
• Good knowledge of paper and printing techniques production processes for stationary development (authenticity card, pendant, booklet, leaflet etc.)
• Good time management and activity planning skills Strong attention to details Proficiency in Power Point
• Good written and spoken English
• Dynamic, proactive, flexible, curious, committed to teamwork
