Your Opportunity
We are looking for a Legal Counsel, with focus on Operations & IP, to be added to our Legal Team based in Milan, reporting to the Legal Manager. How you will contribute
- Support in the management of the Intellectual Property assets of the Company, through the assessment of the design of new eyewear collections, the prosecution of the trademarks’ portfolio, the evaluation of the IP rights connected to special projects, such as specific collaborations or campaigns and enforcement of the relevant rights;
- Working hand-in-hand with the Procurement and Supply Chain Team on various topics, more particularly by reviewing NDA, supply contracts, supporting the Product Compliance Team and the Sustainability Team;
- Support the Marketing and Communication Team, in the revision of several types of contracts (e.g., events production, PR agencies and marketing activities), also by providing valid and practical legal advice on a broad range of matters related to the communication field;
- Support in the management of the agency agreements worldwide, both by drafting the relevant documentation and by liaising with local lawyers to better address the specific requests received in each Country;
- Support the team in the management of pre-litigation and litigation in relation to the above-mentioned tasks, liaising with lawyers and consultants.
- Collaboration with outside counsels in Italy and abroad, Staying up to date on legal and regulatory developments.
Who you are
- Passion: you love what you do and you make it with enthusiasm;
- Commitment: after obtaining a law degree, you practiced at a law firm or as in-house counsel for 2-3 years, in which you encountered some of the challenges you’ll face in the role. You’re meticulously organized and structured, so you can handle multiple tasks and responsibilities with balance and precision. You are fluent in English and Italian. Basic knowledge of the main public IP databases (TMview, WIPO; EUIPO; USPTO) is preferential
